There are no cars built anywhere in the world which can match a Caterham for pure, unbridled, raw driving pleasure. If buying a track car is your aim, no petrol head, car boffin or racer will be able to argue the case against the Seven being the ultimate road and track worthy driving machine.
This Roadsport started life as one of Caterham's Academy cars which means, although it's mechanically identical to all Roadsports, it has been fitted with all the extras which make a Caterham perfect on the track. Complete with harness, full roll cage and a plumbed in fire extinguisher, this Super Seven is Super Safe and could be competing in Motorsport events in no time if desired. However as it is now, it is perfectly suited for trackdays and has the same supple, yet very capable suspension which makes Caterhams such good Sunday road cars.
Being road registered, this Roadsport can be driven to and from any circuit to hone your driving skills, as well as making for an excellent excuse to visit the coast or the not so local pub when the sun shines. (For a glass of Coke of course)
As far as this particular example goes, you are in for a real treat. Academy cars are often automatically overlooked as "Race Cars", however, if you really question that thought in your head, where are the negatives?
"They have probably been driven very hard". Yes certainly.
"They may have come into contact with other cars". Yes that's also very likely.
However, what most people tend to miss, is that they are always the most regularly maintained cars. Caterhams are simple, that is their genius. Simple cars are easily fixed. A poorly prepared Caterham is a slow Caterham, and no racer will have that!
At the end of 2019 this car was thuroughly inspected and serviced by one of the countrys leading Caterham specialists. Since then, like the rest of us, this Roadsport 125 has done next to nothing. The bodywork and interior are in excellent condition, with only minor defections to the fibreglass wings which are of no consequence if track work is your intention. However these are very easily changed should you wish to purchase this car as an excellent value road car.
Freshly serviced and MOT'd, this Roadsport 125 is totally sorted, drives beautifully and is absolutely for a new owner to love and enjoy.
