What I can do for you

I have years of experience in the Caterham world having driven, sold and bought literally thousands of Sevens. Caterhams are a huge passion of mine and nothing makes me happier than helping people get the most out of Caterham Ownership

With my experience I can help you to pick out and buy your first Caterham, or that long deserved upgrade.

I can help you identify the right modifications from the ones that should only ever be talked about at the pub, as well as where to get them done.

I can recommend local specialists for servicing across the country who really know how to look after you and your car.

Basically whether it's for road, track days or racing, I can advise on all the best ways to help you get the most fun out of your Caterham.

First time buyer?

We need to talk

The Caterham marketplace is a minefield to those who don't know what they are looking at. There a literally hundreds of cars to choose from.

There are dozens of models out there which have come and gone over the past 60 years, some good, some great and some downright crazy! The variation of specifications, performance and drive-ability are truly endless. Finding the right car for you is key. It's a toy, you have to love it, you have to be able to enjoy it. Too many people obsess over power and often have less fun as a result.

From the size of the engine to the size of the cockpit, it's important to identify what's right for your intended use and level of experience.

Understanding the Caterham Marketplace

What you need to know

Caterhams take many different forms. To some they are racing cars, to others they are garage queens, and everything in between. Their residual value means they change hands often, going from one owner to the next, taking on a slightly different form for each one.

Their simplicity means Caterhams also last the test of time. Maintenance and modifications are easily done at home and for that reason often are. Some of these may be experienced engineers, others enthusiastic amateurs. It pays to know what's been done properly and what might lead to trouble down the line.

Though I am no engineer I am happy to advise on what is standard and what is not, as well as modifications which have been done well and those that may not.

Beyond this I have a wealth of highly experienced contacts. If I don't know, I can find someone who does.

Need to sell your Caterham and not sure how?

No problem

Selling Caterhams privately can be very difficult.

From deciphering your car's value and how to market it, to that dreaded test drive where you let a stranger loose in your pride and joy. It's a daunting prospect.

I can guide and advise you towards the best course of action.

I can also offer to either purchase your car myself or orchestrate the sale on your behalf for a modest commission.

If you'd like some help, feel free to give me a call. I will do all I can to help you achieve as much as possible with minimal fuss and effort.

Servicing, repairs or upgrades

There are some real experts out there if you know where to find them

Having been an owner myself for many years, and knowing so many others, I am all too aware how personally connected we get with our Caterhams.

For many of us they are not so much cars, but part of the family. Like that pet which, OK might wind you up at times and become a nuisance, but you love it anyway because of how it makes you feel.

You wouldn't take your cat or dog to just any old place to get it looked at, you go to specialists who really know your animal and who will give it the best care possible.

I am lucky enough to know almost all of the best people in the industry to help you ensure you are getting the best possible care for your Seven.

So whether there's a particular upgrade you want doing, or if you just want it servicing, I can point you in the right direction.
